Dry or wet process

When discussing electrostatic filtration processes, we differentiate between dry and wet electrostatic processes. Whereas the dry electrostatic precipitator is used solely for the filtration of dust, wet electrostatic precipitator — such as SENA and SEKA — have the additional task of cleaning exhaust gas of contaminants.
