CYCLONES, MULTI CYCLONES
For Simple Particulate Removal and Pre-Separation
This category comprises all mechanical separators used for the simple removal of particulate matter from the exhaust gases created by combustion processes. Included are tangential cyclones, spark and rotary separators, axial and multi cyclone units. These cyclones are primarily used for spark and fire protection for bag filter applications.
Cyclones:
Air flows from 600 Bm3/h (350 ACFM) to 225,000 Bm3/h (135,000 ACFM).
Our 5 basic cyclone types cover a wide range of applications depending on the discharge material, system pressure as well as pressure loss. Customers have the choice of various materials of construction for different applications as well as many different types of anti-wear protection upgrades.
Multi Cyclones:
The multi cyclone is used for the dry separation of particulate matter and gases. It consists of a specific number of separating elements that are mounted in a common housing. The multi-cyclone is used as a separator or pre-separator for biomass-fired heating systems, scrap wood incineration systems, sewage sludge processing and other applications. Airflows range from 1,500 Bm3/h (900 ACFM) to 200,000 Bm3/h (120,000 ACFM).
