OPERATING COSTS
10 - 30% Reduction in Fan Energy Costs
The improved cleaning method makes it possible to operate the filter with a reduced differential pressure.
This is the greatest source of potential savings, since fan energy costs normally account for more than 60% of a filter´s total energy costs.
60 – 80% Reduction in Compressed Air Consumption
Even in the case of heavy or extremely fine dust loads, EMC technology has made it possible to reduce the number of cleaning pulses by half and to reduce the tank pressure to < 2.0 bar (30 PSI).
Substantially Longer Service Life for Filter Bags
The investment in new filter media is the second largest contributor to the operating costs of a filter system. EMC’s low cleaning pressure ensures gentle, low-impact cleaning of filter bags and the Zero-Flow Design prevents a hard rebound of the filter bag on the support cage. In addition, EMC technology has also cut the number of cleaning impulses in half. The result is a substantially longer service life for filter bags.
